Product overview
A cyclonic or baffle-type separator that removes entrained water droplets from a steam or compressed air stream.
The problem it solves
Wet steam erodes valve seats, cuts heat transfer and, in food and pharmaceutical duty, carries boiler water into contact with product.
Working principle
The flow is forced to change direction sharply. Water droplets, being denser, cannot follow the streamline and are thrown against the wall, where they drain to a trapped outlet.
